NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to any and all unknown parties, including any persons claiming a present interest in the property described below and including persons claiming any future, contingent, reversionary, remainder, or other interest therein, who may claim any interest in such property, such persons' whereabouts being unknown and which cannot be ascertained with reasonable diligence. Such notice is further given to the following persons: Henry Malone, his heirs, assigns, devisees, and/or successors-in-interest; and Mary Nell Malone, her heirs, assigns, devisees, and/or successors in interest. Take notice that the City of Athens' appropriate municipal official, pursuant to Ordinance No. 2012-1862, made a finding that a building, structure, parts of a building or structure, party walls, or foundations situated on the following described property constituted a dangerous building or structure because it was unsafe to the extent that it is a public nuisance and was subject to demolition: STREET ADDRESS: 1309 Plato Jones, Athens, Alabama LEGAL DESCRIPTION: That lot or parcel of land in the City of Athens, Alabama in the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 7, Township 3 South, Range 4 West, descritbed as enclosed by a line beginning at a point in the center of a street, known as Plato Jones Street, which runs East and West through the center of said Section 7, 491 1/2 feet West of the Northeast corner of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said section, and running thence West from the point of beginning 44 feet, thence South 167 feet, thence East 50 feet, thence North 167 feet to Plato Jones Street, thence West along it to the point of beginning, containing 12/100 acres, more or less. PARCEL IDENTIFICATION NUMBER: 1003074002004 Take further notice that the appropriate municipal official, as provided for by Ordinance No. 2012-1862, determined that emergency action was required to demolish such structure due to its imminent danger of structural collapse endangering adjoining property, the public right of way, and/or human life or health, and that such structure was demolished by the City of Athens on October 18, 2016.
