NOTICE OF BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MEETING
The Board of Zoning Adjustment for the City of Athens, Alabama, will hold a work session at 5:00 p.m., followed by their regular meeting at 5:30 p.m., in the City Council Chambers in the Athens Police Department, at 951 East Hobbs Street, on Thursday, June 16, 2016, for the purpose of hearing the following applications and appeals. At this time, the applicant and all interested parties are requested to be present and will be given the opportunity to be heard.

Case #1 Request of Laura Kemp for a variance to the Zoning Ordinance to allow her to raise chickens at her home, located at 1501 Coleman Avenue. The request includes keeping up to 6 chickens (no roosters) in a detached building.
