NOTICE OF MORTGAGE FORECLOSURE SALE Default having been made in the payment of the indebtedness secured by that certain mortgage executed by Jamie Shane Brown and Hillary Brown to Bank Independent on the 16th day of December, 2013, said mortgage being recorded in the Office of the Judge of Probate of Limestone County, Alabama, in Mortgage Book 2013, Page 76251, the undersigned Bank Independent, as mortgagee under and by virtue of the power of sale contained in said mortgage, will sell at public outcry to the highest bidder for cash, in front of the Courthouse at Athens, Limestone County, Alabama, on the 27th day of October, 2017, during the legal hours of sale the following described real estate situated in Limestone County, Alabama, to-wit: A tract of land being a part of Lot No. 1, Block 67, according to the 1914 map of the City of Athens, Alabama, and being more particularly described as follows: Commence at an existing iron pin at the NE corner of the intersection of Madison Street and Pryor Street; thence North 00 degrees 08 minutes 58 seconds West along the East right-of-way of Madison Street, being 25.00 feet from and parallel with the centerline of said Madison Street, a distance of 129.00 feet to a nail and shiner cut in the sidewalk, said nail and shiner being on an agreed property line between Mr. Edward Foxworthy, current owner of the following described property, and Mr. William R. Gordon, adjacent owner of the property to the South, said nail and shiner being the point of true beginning of the tract herein described; thence from the point of true beginning continue North 00 degrees 08 minutes 58 seconds West along the East right-of-way of said Madison Street, being 25.00 feet from and parallel with its center line, a distance of 61.00 feet to an iron pin, said iron pin also being South 00 degrees 08 minutes 58 seconds East a distance of 62.26 feet from an existing iron pin; thence North 89 degrees 21 minutes 00 seconds East, parallel with the centerline of Pryor Street, a distance of 139.50 feet to an iron pin; thence South 00 degrees 08 minutes 58 seconds East a distance of 61.00 feet to a railroad spike in a 36 inch tree; thence South 89 degrees 21 minutes 00 seconds West along said agreed property line a distance of 139.50 feet to the point of true beginning. This sale is made for the purpose of paying the indebtedness secured by said mortgage, as well as the expenses of foreclosure.
