NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to any and all unknown parties, including any persons claiming a present interest in the property described below and including persons claiming any future, contingent, reversionary, remainder, or other interest therein, who may claim any interest in such property, such persons' whereabouts being unknown and which cannot be ascertained with reasonable diligence. Blythe, and/or his heirs, assigns, devisees, and/or successors-in-interest; Mary Alice Horton, and/or her heirs, assigns, devisees, and/or successors-in-interest; The JE Horton Jr. Marital Trust; The JE Horton Family Trust; and any other trust created by the Last Will and Testament of JE Horton, Jr. Take notice that the City of Athens' appropriate municipal official, pursuant to Ordinance No. 2012-1862, has made a finding that a building, structure, parts of a building or structure, party walls, or foundations situated on the following described property constitute a dangerous building or structure because it is unsafe to the extent that it is a public nuisance and is subject to demolition: Address: 708 Westmoreland Avenue, Athens, Alabama PARCEL # 10-03-08-2-002-051.000 Legal Description The following land lying and being in Limestone County, Alabama, and more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point eighty-two (82) feet East of the Southwest corner of Lot 6 A of Block sixty-five (65) according to the map of Athens, Alabama made in the year 1914, on file in the Probate Office in Limestone County, Alabama, said beginning point being also eighty-two (82) feet East of the Southeast corner of the Maxie Allen Home lot, in Athens, Alabama, (as of the 20th day of April 1943), and from said point of true beginning run East 100 feet thence run North 150 feet; thence West 100 feet, thence South 150 feet to the point of beginning. All persons interested in said property are hereby notified that if the unsafe or dangerous conditions are not remedied by demolition of said buildings or structures on said property (to the appropriate municipal official's satisfaction) within 45 days of February 1, the demolition may be accomplished by the City and the cost thereof assessed against said property.
